I started my kids first and when I watched how much fun they were having and how amazing the instructors were I had to try it. Being 45 years old I was skeptical but now I am hooked! I am gaining not only a valuable skill but immense confidence, physical strength and mental acuity. BJJ teaches problem solving and calmness under pressure. It teaches resolve and self control. Kevin, Whitney, Alex, Jay Jay, Santana, Elisa and Vinny all make it interesting and exciting to train. Above that, the team atmosphere among all students is a testimonial as to how amazing the instructors are. I highly recommend this organization for anyone interested!

Update 2024:Since my last review…. I now have a mini-me that just started here. A couple thoughts:- the gym has expanded!! Now with two mats!- so clean. Just sparkling. This might not seem like a big deal, but it is. This is the cleanest BJJ gym I have ever been in.- the best coaches!! The coaches that coach the 3 kids groups are just fantastic. Patient, kind, and hold the kids attention. Professor Kevin and Coach Camren provide structured times for learning, using what you learned and of course play!!!- Variety. You get BJJ and MMA and Muay Thai and now Wrestling has been added, a huge variety of classes.- the community… the other parents, the trainers, your partners, just all good people who want to help and see you succeed.I’ve trained at a lot of places, some good some not so much…. This place is top their2017:This place is fantastic! Real, world-class BJJ instruction. Kevin is patient, and a skillful teacher. . . better, hes a genuinely nice person who wants to see you succed. Plus the facility is nice, the mats are clean, and the folks are nice. 10/10

Entering the world of Jiu Jitsu was seamless thanks to R.B.J.J.'s warm and supportive atmosphere. The folks there genuinely care and follow through, creating an environment where everyone, regardless of skill level, feels valued and encouraged. Professional and patient teachers. Owners are always involved and caring. Great improvement in mental and physical well-being for my 10 and 7 year old.
My daughter started training here when she was six has been training here for a little over two years and I just started training here a little over a month ago. I can’t recommend this place enough. The owners and all the coaches are amazing and are passionate about what they do. Great atmosphere! You feel like part of a family here.

Our son is 5 years old and new to sports. RBJJ's beginner Jiu Jitsu class has been great for him! All of the coaches are absolutely wonderful with working with the young children in his class! Kevin (the owner) takes great care to ensure each pair of children has a coach during class so the children can get the individualized instruction they need and it helps the class run so smoothly! When my son was having a lot of anxiety as a new student before each class, Kevin went out of his way to talk to our son and encourage him and even thought to buddy him up with a new friend before each class until he got more comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about RBJJ!
